You will be contacted to schedule a phone interview with a member of our team.
The committee will meet weekly to discuss requests and you will be notified of the decision promptly thereafter.
Communion for the Sick and Homebound
Our mission: Bringing Jesus Christ to our sick and impaired parishioners who cannot attend Mass at St. Ann.
Our team of lay ministers delivers Holy Communion to homes, memory care centers, nursing homes, and rehab centers. Each week, our Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion coordinate visits, wearing masks and St. Ann Safe Environment ID Badges. They conduct Communion Services that include:
Penitential Rite
Sunday Bible Readings
Reflection
Communion Rite
Concluding Rite
For those unable to participate fully, we offer portions of the Host or a Spiritual Communion.
👉 To receive Holy Communion, please email cshmin@stannparish.org or call 972-304-8545, ext. 6005.
👉 If you are interested in joining this ministry team, please send an email to cshmin@stannparish.org.
Note: If the parishioner requires a priest to administer the Sacraments of Reconciliation (Confession) or the Anointing of the Sick (Extreme Unction), please call the parish office at 972-393-5544 to schedule a visit. The parish office is open Monday–Friday, 8 am to 5 pm.

Host funeral receptions at St. Ann (complimentary for the bereaved family).
Prepare and deliver meals to parishioners facing illness or hardship.
How it works:
Volunteers serve by making or providing food, helping at receptions, or delivering meals.
Notices come through the parish office and are coordinated via email and SignUpGenius.
No regular meetings are required—help when you can.
Everything we do is offered freely, with grace and love, to accompany parishioners during difficult times.

Prayer Shawl Ministry
Welcome to the Prayer Shawl Ministry!
Our mission is simple: to gather in fellowship, crafting prayer shawls infused with God's mercy, love, and compassion. Here's how it works:
We knit or crochet shawls, offering prayers with every stitch
Once blessed by clergy, shawls are given freely to those in need
Whether you're a seasoned crafter or eager to learn, all are welcome
Shawls are available upon request for various occasions or crises
Need a shawl or want to join us? Reach out to Pat at 214-616-3789 or stannshawls@gmail.com
Support our ministry with your prayers and, if able, financial contributions. Help us continue spreading comfort and love.
Together, let's wrap others in the warmth of God's embrace

In less than a year, we've mobilized 24 dedicated volunteers, organized impactful fundraisers like Hiking for Life, conducted Baby Bank campaigns, and participated in Marching for Life.
