Sacraments at St. Ann
At St. Ann, the sacraments are woven into a lifelong journey of discipleship. Rooted in community, worship, and ongoing formation, we invite all seeking the sacraments to fully engage in the vibrant life of our parish.
Congratulation to the birth of your child! We can’t wait to accept them into our spiritual family.
If you have a child 6 years old (1st grade) to 17 years old (12th grade) who needs to be baptized, they will be fully initiated into the Church and receive their Baptism, First Eucharist, and Confirmation.
Any child in grades 2nd through 9th are welcome to enroll in our First Communion sacrament preparation.
Here at St. Ann the sacrament of Confirmation is in the 10th grade. Any youth in 10th grade or above are welcome to enroll in our Confirmation program.
Christian Initiation is the process through which individuals are introduced to the Catholic faith and prepared to receive the sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation, and Eucharist. For those wanting to become Catholic or those baptized Catholic who desire to receive the sacraments.
As with most sacraments, the Sacrament of Marriage requires preparation. The marriage preparation process can take 6 months to a year to complete, so we encourage couples to begin as early as possible.
The Anointing of the Sick is a healing sacrament in the Catholic Church for those who are seriously ill, preparing for major surgery, or weakened by age. Also called "Last Rites," it offers spiritual strength, peace, forgiveness of sins, and, at times, physical healing. To request the sacrament, please call the Front Office at 972-393-5544.
