Baptism
"Holy Baptism is the basis of the whole Christian life, the gateway to life in the Spirit and the door which gives access to the other sacraments. Through Baptism we are freed from sin and reborn as sons of God; we become members of Christ, are incorporated into the Church and made sharers in her mission: "Baptism is the sacrament of regeneration through water in the word." - Catechism of the Catholic Church 1213 Beginning the Journey with Baptism
At St. Ann, the sacraments are woven into a lifelong journey of discipleship. Rooted in community, worship, and ongoing formation, we invite all seeking the sacraments to fully engage in the vibrant life of our parish.
We share your joy and happiness in the birth of your child. You and your family have welcomed this child into the world. Now you desire that he or she be welcomed into our spiritual family.

Children Sacraments
If you have a child 6 years old (1st grade) to 17 years old (12th grade) who needs to be baptized, they will be fully initiated into the Church and receive their Baptism, First Eucharist, and Confirmation.
Our children and youth are expected to attend Children’s Ministry, or Middle School Ministry, or High School Ministry. There will be additional monthly meetings for the child or teen and parents for sacrament preparation. Once enrolled, families will receive an email with dates and meeting times.
Christian Initiation is the process through which individuals are introduced to the Catholic faith and prepared to receive the sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation, and Eucharist. This journey is an opportunity for you to explore, learn, and embrace the teachings of Jesus Christ and the traditions of the Catholic Church.
Are you ready to start exploring the Catholic Church? Again, there’s no pressure to become Catholic—our aim is to help you discern God's will for your life!
