Perpetual Eucharistic Adoration (PEA) Ministry

In 2005, the St. Ann PEA chapel was dedicated to Saint Pope John Paul II for an increase in vocations from St. Ann Parish. With the help of St. Ann parishioners, Jesus is adored in the Blessed Sacrament 24 hours a day, 7 days a week!

We pray that your time in the adoration chapel draws you closer in your relationship with the Lord.  While you adore the Most Blessed Sacrament, you can join us in praying for vocations, sitting in silence, reverently praying, reading, journaling, or listening to spiritual music in headphones.

Whether you are a Drop-In, Substitute, Weekly Adorer, Angel Adorer, or are interested in a leadership position, there is a place for you in the PEA Ministry!

Drop-in

All are welcome to adore the Blessed Sacrament in the PEA Chapel located across the parking lot from the main church! You do not have to sign up for a specific time or register to visit the PEA Chapel.

PEA Chapel Hours: 6AM-10PM

The chapel is made accessible only to scheduled weekly adorers from 10PM-6AM

Weekly Adorer

Weekly Adorers make 24/7 Eucharist Adoration possible at St. Ann’s. The PEA Ministry strives to have at least 2 committed weekly adorers every hour of every day adoring the Blessed Sacrament. Weekly Adorers commit to attend the same hour every week until they request to be removed from the schedule. They also request substitutes through our scheduling app (We Adore Him) if they are unable to attend any upcoming shifts.

Substitutes

Not ready to commit to a weekly adoration hour but still want to serve the PEA Ministry? The PEA Ministry sends an email to our registered substitutes for our most needed shifts that are not covered by weekly adorers for the coming week. Register as a substitute by selecting the "I only want to sub in this job" box to receive these emails and fill in for the most needed hours.

Angel Adorers

In rare circumstances, a weekly adorer may need to leave the chapel before the next weekly adorer has arrived. So that the Blessed Sacrament is not left unattended, Angel Adorers arrive quickly to adore until the next weekly adorer arrives. Angel Adorers must live at most 5-10 minutes from the chapel. Leadership Positions

Leadership roles in the PEA Ministry require the ability to navigate email, basic Microsoft Excel knowledge, ability to learn basic Volunteer Scheduler Pro (VSP) platform skills, and have great communication skills. The PEA Leadership Team meets once a quarter on Saturday mornings for an in-person meeting.
