May 10th – Sixth Sunday of Easter

“Always be ready to give an explanation to anyone who asks you for a reason for your hope…” (1 Peter 3:15)

Here at St. Ann, our mission is to bring people to Jesus, form disciples, and send them out to transform the world. This begins with receiving the Good News in our own hearts—with recognizing Christ and allowing ourselves to be healed in His love and mercy. Once we can receive Him and sanctify Him in our hearts, then we can better give witness to the faith.

Each of us is called to know, love, and be loved by the God of the universe. We are specifically sent out to serve in various ways and to give our testimonies. But as mentioned in 1 Peter 3, we are called to share the reason of our hope with gentleness and reverence.

This week, allow Him to help you receive the Good News in your heart so that you may better sanctify Him. Ask Him to show you the ways in which He has worked in your life and with whom He may be calling you to share your testimony.

“Estén siempre dispuestos a dar una explicación a todo el que les pida una razón de su esperanza…” (1 Pedro 3:15)

Aquí en Santa Ana, nuestra misión es llevar a las personas a Jesús, formar discípulos y enviarlos a transformar el mundo. Esto comienza recibiendo la Buena Nueva en nuestro propio corazón: reconociendo a Cristo y permitiendo que Él nos sane con su amor y misericordia. Cuando podemos recibirlo y santificarlo en nuestro corazón, entonces podemos dar mejor testimonio de fe.

Cada uno de nosotros está llamado a conocer, amar y ser amado por el Dios del universo. Somos enviados de manera concreta a servir de diversas formas y a compartir nuestro testimonio. Pero, como se menciona en 1 Pedro 3, estamos llamados a compartir la razón de nuestra esperanza con caridad y respeto.

Esta semana, permite que Él te ayude a recibir la Buena Nueva en tu corazón para que puedas santificarlo mejor. Pídele que te muestre las maneras en que ha obrado en tu vida y con quién te está llamando a compartir tu testimonio.
