Communion for the Sick and Homebound

Our mission at St. Ann is to bring Jesus Christ, through offering the Holy Eucharist to our sick and impaired parishioners who cannot attend Mass at St. Ann.

Our team of lay ministers delivers Holy Communion to homes, memory care centers, nursing homes, and rehab centers. Each week, our Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion coordinate visits, wearing masks and St. Ann Safe Environment ID Badges. They conduct Communion Services that include:

  • Penitential Rite

  • Sunday Bible Readings

  • Reflection

  • Communion Rite

  • Concluding Rite

For those unable to participate fully, we offer portions of the Host or a Spiritual Communion

Note: If the parishioner requires a priest to administer the Sacraments of Reconciliation (Confession) or the Anointing of the Sick (Extreme Unction), please call the parish office at 972-393-5544 to schedule a visit. The parish office is open Monday–Friday, 8 am to 5 pm.

When the office is closed, the answering system will prompt you to press “1” for English or “2” for Spanish. In an emergency requiring the immediate attention of a priest, press “1” a second time.
