May 25 – Sixth Sunday of Easter

To know the Holy Spirit, we first remember who the Father is.

He is Creator—the One who shaped the universe and formed you with care.
He is Protector—the One who defends, shelters, and never abandons.
He is Promise-Keeper—always faithful, always near.
He is Father—not distant or aloof, but personal, tender, and trustworthy.

When Jesus promises to send the Holy Spirit, He offers us the very presence of the Father. The Holy Spirit is not a substitute—but the continuation of the Father’s love and power. He is the fire that descended at Sinai, the wind that hovered over the waters of creation, the breath that gives life. The same Spirit who raised Jesus from the dead now dwells in us—making God’s nearness not just something beside us, but something within us.

Jesus says, “It is better for you that I go, for if I do not go, the Advocate will not come” (John 16:7). And He promises: “I will not leave you orphaned” (John 14:18).

If you’ve ever wondered whether you’re truly loved—or whether love could last—the Holy Spirit is God’s answer:
You are not alone.
You are not forgotten.

So this week, invite the Spirit to fill your heart.
When you rise, when you are overwhelmed, when you feel uncertain, pray:

Come, Holy Spirit.
Let Him remind you of the Father’s love—and who you are in Him.

Para conocer al Espíritu Santo, primero recordamos quién es el Padre.
Él es Creador: el que formó el universo y te moldeó con cuidado.
Él es Protector: el que defiende, resguarda y nunca abandona.
Él es Fiel a sus promesas: siempre constante, siempre cercano.
Él es Padre: no distante ni indiferente, sino personal, tierno y digno de confianza.

Cuando Jesús promete enviar al Espíritu Santo, nos ofrece la misma presencia del Padre. El Espíritu Santo no es un sustituto, sino la continuación del amor y el poder del Padre. Es el fuego que descendió en el Sinaí, el viento que se cernía sobre las aguas de la creación, el aliento que da vida. El mismo Espíritu que resucitó a Jesús de entre los muertos ahora habita en nosotros haciendo que la cercanía de Dios no se sienta solo en nuestro lado, sino que se sienta como algo dentro de nosotros.

Jesús dice: “Les conviene que yo me vaya, porque si no me voy, el Paráclito no vendrá a ustedes” (Juan 16, 7). Y promete: “No los dejaré huérfanos” (Juan 14, 18).

Si alguna vez te has preguntado si eres verdaderamente amado (o si ese amor podría durar) el Espíritu Santo es la respuesta de Dios:
No estás solo.
No has sido olvidado.

Así que esta semana, invita al Espíritu a llenar tu corazón.
Cuando despiertes, cuando te sientas abrumado, cuando tengas dudas, reza:
Ven, Espíritu Santo.

Deja que Él te recuerde el amor del Padre y quién eres tú en Él.
