Mothers of Young Children
Mothers of Young Children (MYC) is a parish ministry of Catholic mothers providing a loving community as we grow in our faith to make disciples of our children.
MYC’s goal is to build a fellowship of mothers where all are included, welcomed and empowered in their beautiful vocation of motherhood. We want to help our mothers grow through enrichment of our Catholic faith and friendship, to best serve Our Lord, our families, our community and the St. Ann parish.
MYC is a parish supported ministry where all mothers of our parish are welcomed. Monthly morning meetings are held every 3rd Tuesday of the month from 9:30a-11:30a and the St. Ann nursery is available for children 6 months to preschool age. Nursery reservations are required. All meetings include a guest speaker and topic, group prayer, an overview of all upcoming events and activities to build communion between moms.
In addition to monthly meetings MYC also offers children playgroups and play events, social events for moms, holiday parties, community service opportunities for mom and child, book studies, prayer groups and much more. In support of our working moms, monthly evening events are held at least twice monthly, including a Moms Night Out, a social event for moms to get together in fellowship, and a Moms Night In, a focused discussion group/bible study for furthering moms' faith.
