About the Carnival
The Carnival started as a fund-raiser for the Youth program and expanded into a three-day event that provides fun and funds for the entire Metroplex area. Carnival preparation is a year-round activity organized by a dedicated core group of volunteers. During the weekend of the Carnival we'll need more than 1600 volunteers to help everything run smoothly. The event attracts more than 20,000 visitors and proceeds help to support not only St. Ann Parish, but also the surrounding community. Examples of organizations that have benefited from previous Carnival proceeds are the St. Ann Building Fund, Coppell Civic Departments, Christian Community Center in Lewisville, Metrocrest Service Center in Carrollton, various Scouting programs, and The North Texas Food Bank. The Community Carnival is held in the fall each year.
