Stewardship Fund

• What is the difference between the Stewardship Fund and the Weekly Collection (Sunday offertory)?

Nothing!  The Stewardship Fund and the weekly collection are the same thing.  Contributions to the Stewardship Fund and the weekly collection all support the overall operations of the parish.

• I put money in the basket - why do I need to pledge?

Thank you - those loose donations do add up.  Your pledge is just an indication of what you plan to give in the weekly collection.  Pledging helps the parish create and manage to a yearly budget.  It's similar to planning a family budget based on household income.  If the boss decided each week what they were going to pay you, a family could never plan their lifestyle and activities!  The same applies for St. Ann planning and budgeting for expenses and activities.
